Personae I
The first of 2 group exhibitions by women artists. Persona I was held at Pacific Plaza, along Scotts Road in Singapore. The exhibitions colonised empty shoplots, as at the time, Pacific Plaza was newly opened with few tenants. The exhibition was groundbreaking as an exhibition that provoked site-specific works. Susie Wong placed several oil portraits in an empty shoplot, the floor of which was yet uncemented or leveled, and false ceilings yet to be installed.
