Residual images of Places call up remembered or fictive landscapes. Culling personal and archival photographs, Susie Wong revisits landscapes, whether remembered or imagined, of Java or Sumatra (in the archipelago of Indonesia).

is a body of works is made in response to suppressed grieving and trauma. After Hokusai is a set of drawings of cherry blossoms. Presented over lightboxes, the drawings create a space for contemplation of the corporeal (body) and the ephemeral.
