Wong’s second solo exhibition in Singapore. About 25 oil paintings were exhibited, including many nude and portrait paintings. Many of the nudes were painted from life sittings.

 

“What she has painted is an ‘autobiographical narration’ of being Woman. The sitters are her friends, an this helped to make the process a cathartic one for both artist and subjects in self-discovery. Part of Susie’s was also in how a women would paint a woman’s body”. (Thio Lay Hoon, ID, 1995)
